Duties Greet customers warmly and provide outstanding customer service with enthusiasm and professionalism Prepare and serve freshly baked bagels, coffee, and other café menu items efficiently and accurately Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process transactions swiftly and correctly Manage food safety standards by handling food properly, maintaining cleanliness, and following health regulations Assist with food preparation, including slicing bagels, assembling orders, and maintaining inventory levels Handle cash transactions with accuracy, including cash handling, cashiering, and basic math calculations Maintain a clean, organized workspace by cleaning equipment, counters, and dining areas regularly Requirements Previous experience in food service or café environments preferred; barista experience is a plus Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during busy hours Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude and clear communication abilities Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures Ability to perform basic math for cash handling and retail math calculations accurately Capable of standing for extended periods, lifting moderate loads, and working in a fast-paced environment Join us at 'Good Bagels!' where your energy fuels our success!
