Who is able to transition into a LEAD position in the near future. As a Barista, you will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers while preparing high-quality beverages and food items. Your role will involve engaging with customers, taking orders, and ensuring that every drink is crafted to perfection. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and have a love for coffee and customer service, this position is perfect for you. Very busy stand = great tips. Responsibilities Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and food items according to established recipes and standards. Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers warmly and taking their orders accurately. Operate cash registers efficiently, handling cash transactions and processing payments. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workspace, including equipment, and utensils. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high standards of hygiene in food preparation areas. Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels of coffee beans, syrups, milk, and other supplies. Engage with customers to promote new products and upsell menu items effectively. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours. Qualifications Previous experience in the food service industry is preferred 6 months of Fast paced drive thru experience. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clientele. Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately. Familiarity with cash handling procedures and operating a cash register. Knowledge of food safety practices is a plus. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills related to food preparation and beverage crafting. A valid Food Handlers permit A valid driver's license. Problem-solving capabilities. Independence and initiative. The ability to remember repeat customers' orders. Proficiency in using espresso machines and other coffee equipment.
