The Queen Bee provides a unique experience, serving delicious sweet and savory crumpets and specialty coffee! We are looking for a coffee enthusiast to join our exceptional team!
The Queen Bee is dedicated to all strong, resourceful mothers and nurturing women. Aegis Living's owner Dwayne Clark started the Queen Bee in 2014. His mother, Colleen Clark was the Queen Bee in his family, and created the Queen Bee in her memory. Colleen was a single mother of British roots who provided for her family as a hard-working line cook. Her skills as a mother mirrored her skills in the kitchen. Colleen kneaded into her son the self confidence that he could do anything, sifted that together with a generosity of spirit, tempered that with a sense of humor, and added a dash of flamboyance to spice up life.
Whether your taste buds crave savory or sweet, Queen Bee offers traditional English crumpets (also called a griddle cake) in a new way with locally sourced products and produce in tasty combinations along with a cup of Middle Fork coffee or espresso. What s more At the Queen Bee, we give all our profits to local non-profits! POSITION
RESPONSIBILITIESPassion for providing exceptional service; connect with customers, learn names and food/beverage preferences, prioritize customers over tasks, provide service recovery when neededPrepares food and beverages quickly and according to recipe; correctly customizes orders as requestedMaintains proper inventory control of products; day-dots all applicable products, rotates using FIFO method, tracks waste as neededDescribes product details to customers and suggests items as appropriate to increase salesCleans and sanitizes all equipment, utensils, dishes, work areas and seating areasEnsures proper functioning of equipmentCommunicates positivelyManages time effectively and upholds attendance and punctuality standardsFlexibility with schedule and willingness/ability to work weekends, holidays and events to meet business needsHandles cash correctly and accurately manages till; rings in products correctlyUtilizes tools and systems provided by management to effectively complete job requirementsTakes initiative to complete all tasks and ensure customer service standards are metPerforms other related duties as assignedProvides recommendations to regional manager on how to improve store operationsPlaces orders as needed and is knowledgeable on all inventory standards.
