Barista/Cafe Team Member We've have two locations in North Bend and we're looking for full time and part time baristas to join the team! Must be available to work weekend shifts. One cafe is located inside a premier ski and mountain shop, the other is inside a bike shop and we're seeking experienced baristas/servers who also have a passion for the outdoors and sustainability to fit the culture. We serve artisan coffee and tea, beer, wine, cider, as well as locally sourced bakery and breakfast/lunch food items that require prep (such as assembling sandwiches, heating in a Merrychef, plating/wrapping food, etc.). We get very busy on the weekends, so the ability to work in a fast paced environment and effectively multi-task, while maintaining quality, is a must. Reliably showing up on time, whether weekends, early morning or evening shifts. Showing honesty and integrity at all times. Maintaining/cleaning all equipment and café spaces with the highest of care. Adaptability and focusing on improving everything we do every day - as a new shop, we'll need to learn and adjust as we go, so it's critical we have team members who love working in this type of environment. A strong focus on sustainability! We'll always be looking for ways to reduce our footprint and want team members who share the same passion and willingness to help support our efforts (such as a strong focus on reusable cups vs. single use disposable).

Job Requirements:

Previous barista experience with a manual machine, food service, and/or beer/wine service experience. Successful completion of initial barista training and trial period. Ability to stand for long periods of time, perform tasks requiring manual dexterity and lifting up to 40 pounds. Willingness and ability to work weekends and some weekdays (morning, midday. and/or evenings). Note we are currently hiring for weekends specifically! Possess basic math/cash handling skills. Outgoing friendly attitude. Desire to interact with customers. Current Food handler and MAST permits mandatory.

We are NOT currently hiring short-term/temporary workers. Also, we are ONLY hiring employees who are able to work weekends. We'll only consider employees available weekends who intend to stay longer term. We're only looking to hire employees 21+ at this time.
