Barista and Kitchen Support

The Park Side Cafe in Olympia, WA is looking for a new team member! This is a part time position and shifts can range from 2-4 days a week. Shifts can start as early as 6am and late as 6pm. Hours can range from 12-24 hrs per week. We are located at 1909 Harrison Ave NW. Our ideal candidate is self-driven, punctual, and hard-working with open availability. Responsibilities You will be trained for all cafe operation duties: Barista Shifts consist of taking orders, packaging orders, answering the phone, cleaning, helping with dishes, stocking sauces and desserts, making sauces and syrups from scratch for espresso drinks, and closing the cafe with the kitchen team. Cook and food prep shifts consist of preparing customers orders, prepping cafe recipes, washing dishes, deep cleaning kitchen tasks, assisting barista when needed. Qualifications •1 year of food establishment is required to be considered•Experience with commercial dishwashers, ovens, and other large equipment, has updated food handlers card, team player, works well under pressure, excited about plant based foods. Weekend availability is a must. Open availability is preferred.
