BARISTA/ BAKER: 7am - 3pm Shifts (Weekday & Weekend)

Cafe Weekend is an independent neighborhood boutique cafe located just east of the International District & south of Capitol Hill/ Central District near Judkin's Park light rail stop. We are currently accepting resumes for an experienced part time A.M. barista. Apply now if you have food service or customer service background, self motivated and enjoy working independently.

We are looking to fill these positions immediately, but will continue to take resumes and interviews for future openings then after. (Must be available to work Weekends and Weekdays, combination of both)See Shifts below.

You will be servicing a friendly neighborhood community of regulars, artists, families

• Shifts Minimum start $21.30hr + tips ( = Seattle min + tips)
• Major Holidays are days off for all staff (Easter, 4th of July, Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years Day)
• Schedules are planned 1 month in advance and not week to week
• Street parking is Free & near transportation hubs
• Staff purchases for in-house meals, coffee drinks & retail items are subsidizedApplicant must have a dependable method of transportation or willing to take public transportation.

QUALIFICATIONS & KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED

BAKER:

Has passion for coffee & good customer serviceHas experience in baking & food prep 1-2 years experience of barista knowledge &/or equivalent food/bakery setting experience Dependable, Morning person with a good attitude. Organized, Clean, Energetic, & Self-motivated. Multi-tasking is necessary Flexibility & patience is important. MUST have morning weekends + weekday shifts available Good social etiquette and able to communicate light positive conversation with customers Desire to learn and make a solid contribution to the success of the company. Has knowledge of food service equipment, supplies, and materials. Basic food preparation and presentation methods, techniques and safety quality standards are required. Attention to detail when following instruction. WA state Food handlers permit required. Present a clean and neat appearance Must be able to commit to working more than 6 months, do not apply for Summer only or seasonal positions.

Additional skills are a plus:

Caffe Vita trainedlatte art production baking experience MAST permitart admin interested in contributing to workshops & events previous retail sales experience, preferably in a bookstore or food product setting

SHIFTS AVAILABILITY

• We are currently hiring part-time for 3
• 4 days a week, with flexibility to cover additional shifts. SATURDAY or SUNDAY Weekend shifts are required.
• Shifts MONDAY thru SUNDAY (7:30am
