Right now, we re hiring:

PAY:

$21.30 + TIPSFULL TIME- 32hrs+ per week. (Must be available to work either a Saturday or Sunday please) (

Location:

1501 Western Ave. Right above our sister-store Pike Street Press)We are open 7 days a week, 7:00am-6:00pm.

Hiring immediately, please only apply if you are available to work within 2 weeks of your interviewPike Street Coffee has a full espresso bar, wine & beer menu and local goods/art/retail offerings. This position would include cashiering, barista and retail duties.

Responsibilities include:

Deliver the best experience to every customer, with a friendly and community-oriented attitude.

Prepare and serve beverages and food items consistently.

Assist with setup, cleanup, stock work, and special tasks.

Maintain a clean and inviting environment for customers and team members.

Be able and willing to work early morning, afternoon, and weekend shifts.

Restock supplies, retail merchandise and make the space neat, tidy and welcomingSupport your team in keeping the cafe clean and running smoothly.

Requirements:

2 years Barista Experience in a Craft Coffee ShopHigh school diploma or GED.At least one year experience in customer service and/or hospitality.

A strong background and emphasis on customer service.

MAST Serving PermitValid Food Handlers PermitPhysical Requirements:

Must be able to lift 30 pounds above your head.

Job requires long hours on your feet.

Repeated motions with hands and wrists (i.e. tamping, pulling shots, steaming milk).
