Job Description
We are a friendly and pretty all ages espresso and evening bar. We have an enthusiastic neighborhood customer base, plus regional pull in an area with not enough bars and restaurants. We're open daily 7 am to 10 pm or earlier on weekdays, and only as an espresso bar to 2 pm on weekends. We are a mile from two light rail stations and the associated redevelopment around them.
We have great espresso, nice beers and wines, a small food menu, and rotating food trucks. After a challenging but enriching attempt at being an ambitious sit down restaurant last year, we've returned to our more sustainable roots as a relaxed and flexible neighborhood spot with many amenities and a small staff. With our older and well established sister bar Ridgecrest Public House next door, lots of patios, and a stage, we have a lot of potential.
We seek a full time employee interested in both morning shifts as barista and evening shifts as bartender. Since we don't have a dedicated BOH at this time, plating food, bussing, dishwashing are small but significant parts of each shift. Our ideal candidate has experience and great interest in working in a team environment with role differentiation and communication 70% of the time, and also works well solo 30% of the time. We welcome experience in espresso, cocktails, beer, wine and food, but are happy to train the right person who loves to work in hospitality.
