We donate a portion of our sales to local charities and community organizations, and we opened our doors to bring people together around connection, conscious spending, and civic engagement. Our cozy, soft-lit space on Pine Street is a neighborhood favorite for handcrafted bubble tea, fresh-baked mochi donuts, macarons, and cookies — and we're looking for someone who can bring that same warmth to every customer who walks through our door. What You'll Do Prepare bubble tea, milk tea, and specialty drinks (including fan favorites like our Night Sky Tea and Strawberry Matcha) according to recipe and presentation standards Cook and portion tapioca pearls and other toppings (jellies, popping boba, etc.) Take customer orders and operate the POS/cash register accurately Greet every guest warmly and help them navigate the menu, including dietary options like our oat milk alternatives Plate and serve pastries (mochi donuts, macarons, cookies) Maintain a clean, organized bar and front-of-house area, including dishes, restocking, and general tidiness Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines Help open or close the shop as scheduled (setup, breakdown, restocking ingredients) Support the shop's community-minded mission by representing Social Tea's values to guests What We're Looking For A friendly, positive, and approachable attitude — you genuinely enjoy talking with people Reliability and punctuality Ability to multitask and stay calm during busy rushes Comfortable on your feet for a full shift and able to lift, bend, and reach as needed Ability to work the POS (we'll train you on the POS) A team player who pitches in wherever needed Must be able to obtain a Washington State Food Worker Card No prior boba or barista experience required — just a willingness to learn!
