Current positions are part time working 20-30 hours per week. The ideal candidate will have a passion for customer service and a strong ability to communicate effectively with customers. This role involves assisting customers with their shopping needs, maintaining store presentation, and contributing to a positive shopping experience. Must have open availability. Including weekends. Duties Greet and serve customers warmly and assist them in ordering, providing details of menu and making suggestions Provide exceptional customer service by answering questions and addressing concerns promptly. Utilize effective upselling techniques to enhance the customer experience and increase sales. Operate cash registers and Point of Sale (POS) systems accurately, handling transactions efficiently. Prepare and maintain all equipment for the day. Prepare food and maintain consistent high-quality food preparation and service throughout shift. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area. Monitor inventory levels, restock, and communicate any shortages to management Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and improve overall store performance. Qualifications Previous kitchen experience preferred but not required. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively with customers. Basic math skills for handling transactions and understanding retail math concepts. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply, as this can enhance customer interactions. Familiarity with cash registers and POS systems is a plus but not mandatory; training will be provided. A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn are essential for success in this role. Self motivated and able to work independently Must be 21 years of age of older Must maintain a current MAST permit and food worker permit Recommend having transportation, location is not near a busline.
