In this energetic role, you'll craft delicious coffee beverages, handle cash transactions with precision, and deliver exceptional customer service. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in food and beverage service while working in a fast-paced, dynamic setting. Duties Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and specialty beverages with skill and consistency Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for accurate order processing and cash handling Greet customers warmly, take their orders efficiently, and provide personalized recommendations when appropriate Manage cash register operations including cash handling, credit card transactions, and balancing registers at shift end Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards in the café area, including food preparation and food handling practices Assist with food service tasks such as serving baked goods or light snacks to ensure a seamless customer experience Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers promptly while maintaining quality standards Requirements Prior experience as a barista or in food service is highly preferred; familiarity with coffee preparation is a plus Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for efficient sales transactions Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and order totaling Knowledge of food safety protocols and proper food handling techniques Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a fast-paced environment Reliable team player with a positive attitude and strong communication skills Join us to be part of a passionate team dedicated to delivering exceptional café experiences!
