Temporary Description:
Temporary Position Notice:
This is a temporary position anticipated to continue through early July 2026. Employment is expected to conclude at that time based on business needs. Applicants should be comfortable accepting a temporary assignment.
Summary:
Provides customers with un-compromised service and product through individual or team effort. Must be 18 years of age. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Prepares consistently high-quality Espresso Beverages in a speedy manner. Ability to handle many drinks at one time while maintaining quality. Brews beverages with repeated precision and is able to taste deviances from our quality standards and trouble shoot the remedy. Ability to tandem efficiently with co-workers. Responsible for self-initiated learning and attends periodic espresso training. Understands the working of the espresso machine. Has the ability to trouble shoot solutions to problems with the machine and grinders. Operates cash register and handles money involved in customer transactions. Ability to help co-workers with register problems. Follows standards for merchandising, stocking, rotating and strong all products. Keeps supplies stocked to maintain smooth customer service. Alerts management when supplies are low. May be required to process regular weekly ordering. Maintains a clean, presentable work environment for both employees and customers in accordance to health codes. Acknowledges all customers entering Casino and ensures completion of their transactions. Is able to complete tasks thoroughly and promptly with little to no direct supervision. Recognizes and has rapport with regular customers. Ability to handle customer interactions professionally. Speaks knowledgeably with customers about coffee, espresso beverages and preparation. Takes orders for beverages and serves patrons in the Water's Edge Cafe as needed or when requested.

Requirements:
Qualifications:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Education and/or
Experience:
High School Diploma or GED Six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience in Restaurant, Hospitality or Retail environment preferred. Passion for providing the ultimate in customer service and quality, passion for Coffee, Espresso and a fun, fast-paced environment. Advanced working knowledge of coffee, able to compare coffees within growing regions, detailed knowledge of varietal, blends, decaf and their processing, processing of coffee, beverage recipes, coffee appropriate for espresso, brewing option and quality control measures. Able to perform at a high level on the espresso machine in a fast manner, with efficiency and quality a priority.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
Requires a Class II Gaming License, Current Washington State Food Worker Card. Current Class 12 Mixologist Permit/Class 13
