As a Barista, you will be the face of our café, responsible for crafting high-quality beverages and providing outstanding customer service. Your enthusiasm for coffee and commitment to excellence will help foster a welcoming atmosphere that keeps our customers coming back. Responsibilities Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages according to established recipes and customer preferences. Operate the POS system efficiently to process transactions accurately. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café, including workstations, equipment, and dining areas. Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns. Handle cash transactions with accuracy while adhering to cash handling policies. Assist with inventory management, including tracking supplies and placing orders as needed. Ensure compliance with food handling and safety regulations at all times. Collaborate with team members to create a positive work environment while managing time effectively during busy periods. Experience Previous experience in a café or food service environment is preferred but not required. Familiarity with retail math and cash handling procedures is beneficial. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting. A genuine passion for coffee and knowledge of brewing techniques is an advantage. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse clientele. Ability to work as part of a team while also demonstrating initiative in individual tasks.
