This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about hospitality and providing exceptional service in a private club environment. The Petroleum Club is known for its elevated dining experience, member-focused service, and high standards of professionalism. The Petroleum Club of Anchorage is proud of its long-standing team, with many staff members who have been with us 5+ years and some for more than a decade. Responsibilities Prepare and serve beverages according to standard recipes and club guidelines Provide attentive, professional service to members and guests Offer recommendations and ensure a high-quality guest experience Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar and service areas Work collaboratively with kitchen and service staff to ensure smooth operations Handle cash and POS transactions accurately Qualifications Previous bartending or restaurant experience required Fine dining, hotel, or private club experience preferred Strong knowledge of cocktails, wine, and beverage service preferred Excellent customer service and communication skills Dependable, professional, and team-oriented Ability to work evenings, weekends, and events as needed TIPS certification preferred or required upon hire Must be 21+ Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs Benefits Competitive pay Flexible scheduling Employee meal discount Health insurance (for eligible full-time employees)
