Join Fresco in Bon Secour, a hot new local restaurant. We are open five days per week, closed on Sunday's and Monday serving lunch and dinner the remainder of the week. Flexible scheduling! Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and talented Mixologist to elevate our guests' experience through innovative drink creations and exceptional service. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will craft a variety of beverages, from classic cocktails to modern mixes, ensuring every guest enjoys a memorable visit. Your passion for the food and beverage industry, combined with your flair for mixing drinks and engaging with customers, will help create a lively, welcoming atmosphere. This role offers the opportunity to showcase your creativity while delivering top-tier customer service in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Prepare and serve a wide range of beverages, including cocktails, spirits, and non-alcoholic drinks, adhering to recipes and presentation standards Engage with guests to understand their preferences and recommend drink options that enhance their experience Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety and sanitation standards Manage POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for accurate order processing and cash handling Handle cash transactions efficiently while maintaining accuracy in retail math and cash handling procedures Assist in setting up bar stations for special events like banquets or nightclub nights, ensuring all supplies are stocked and ready Promote sales by upselling beverages and creating an energetic atmosphere that encourages guest interaction Requirements Proven experience as a Mixologist or bartender, preferably with fine dining or nightclub experience Strong knowledge of POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests in a friendly and professional manner Ability to manage time effectively in a busy environment, balancing serving multiple guests efficiently Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures Experience with catering or banquet service is a plus Basic math skills for accurate cash handling, retail math, and measuring ingredients accurately Familiarity with food industry terminology such as brewing, serving techniques, and food safety regulations Previous restaurant or food service experience preferred; hospitality background highly valued Join our team as a Mixologist where your creativity meets exceptional service!
