Description Job Overview:
2pm-10pm (Shift subject to change based on business needs) The Bartender shall mix and serve alcoholic and nonalcoholic drinks to customers at the Pool/Escape facility, while assisting pool kitchen with food orders/guest service.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Completes guest service at the pool bar and decks, take food and beverage orders utilizing suggestive selling and up-selling techniques with thorough menu knowledge Maintains complete knowledge of all menu items, liquor brands, beers, non-alcoholic selections, specials and mixes ingredients to prepare cocktails and other drinks, including food items Maintains a complete awareness of cocktail and drink recipes and production methods Maintains a complete knowledge of designated glassware and garnish for each drink Is knowledgeable of a variety of alcoholic beverages and their methods of production Inspects cleanliness and condition of assigned stations and associated public space, and rectifies any deficiencies in a timely manner Continuously maintains guest service, cleanliness and organization of the pool bar and decks, bottle displays, coolers, station equipment and inventory of ALL associated product Replaces ashtrays with 2 cigarette butts, utilizing the "capping" method Other duties & responsibilities as assigned by supervisor
Job Requirements:
(please ensure you meet the listed requirements prior to applying ) Demonstrated ability to communicate, in English, effectively both verbally and in writing, and understand and carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram formats Six (6) months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience- required Must be twenty-one (21) years of age or older High School diploma or GED required or currently enrolled and successfully complete a GED program within 6 months from start date as a condition of continued employment Must successfully pass job interview, including a guest service audition Must successfully complete Responsible Vendor Alcoholic Beverage Service, and TIPS training Must successfully complete ServeSafe Sanitation training Willing and able to work odd or irregular hours including nights, weekends, and holidays Willing to travel and participate in training as recommended or required Must have a Tribal Gaming License (or the ability to obtain and maintain a license) as a requirement for this position Must have willingness and ability to work in a smoke/secondary smoke environment
