Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and personable Server/Bartender to join our vibrant hospitality team. In this role, you will be the face of our establishment, creating memorable experiences for our guests through exceptional service, engaging interactions, and a lively atmosphere. Whether taking orders at the bar or serving tables in our cafe setting, your goal is to deliver outstanding food and beverage service that keeps guests coming back for more. This paid position offers a dynamic environment where your skills in food handling, POS systems, and customer service will shine. Responsibilities Greet guests warmly and take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Clover. Serve drinks and meals efficiently while maintaining a lively and positive attitude. Manage cash handling, cashiering duties, and processing payments accurately. Ensure food safety and proper food handling procedures are followed at all times. Maintain cleanliness of the bar and dining areas, adhering to food safety standards. Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities.. Manage time effectively during busy hours to serve multiple tables or bar patrons seamlessly. Handle customer inquiries professionally, resolving issues promptly to ensure satisfaction. Experience Previous restaurant experience needed. Experience in serving alcohol responsibly in a cafe or restaurant setting is advantageous. Knowledge of food safety protocols and proper food handling techniques is essential. Strong skills in sales, customer service, and hospitality are necessary to thrive in this role. Basic math skills including retail math and cash handling are important for accurate transactions. Experience with catering events or banquet service adds value to your application.
