- Phoenix Gilbert is seeking an energetic, personable, and professional Bartender to join our opening team.
This is an exciting opportunity to help launch a brand-new hotel and create memorable guest experiences from the very first day of operation. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for providing exceptional hospitality while preparing and serving beverages, maintaining a welcoming atmosphere, and ensuring compliance with all alcohol service regulations and Hilton standards. Position Summary The Bartender is responsible for preparing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, maintaining a clean and organized bar area, handling transactions accurately, and delivering outstanding guest service. The ideal candidate is friendly, knowledgeable, and passionate about hospitality. Responsibilities Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to recipes and guest preferences Provide exceptional guest service in a friendly and professional manner Verify guest age and ensure responsible alcohol service in compliance with Arizona liquor laws Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar, lounge, and service areas Accurately process cash, credit card, and room charge transactions Monitor inventory levels and notify management of supply needs Assist with stocking, receiving, and organizing beverage inventory Maintain proper sanitation and food safety standards Promote menu items, beverages, and hotel amenities to guests Collaborate with hotel departments to ensure a seamless guest experience Follow all Hilton brand standards and company policies Assist with pre-opening setup, training, and operational preparations Qualifications Previous bartending experience required Hotel, restaurant, or hospitality experience preferred Knowledge of classic cocktails, beer, wine, and beverage service Arizona Title 4 Alcohol Certification (or ability to obtain upon hire) Excellent customer service and communication skills Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Strong attention to detail and accuracy Professional appearance and positive attitude Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 pounds Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays Preferred Qualifications Hilton hospitality experience Knowledge of point-of-sale (POS) systems Experience with hotel bar operations Previous opening hotel experience is a plus What We Offer Competitive hourly wage plus tips Hilton Team Member Travel Program Paid training Career advancement opportunities Positive and supportive work environment Opportunity to be part of a brand-new hotel opening Schedule Full-Time and Part-Time Positions Available Primarily Afternoon and Evening Shifts Weekend and Holiday Availability Required About Homewood Suites by Hilton
