Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Barback to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced bar environment. The Barback plays a crucial role in supporting bartenders by ensuring the bar is well-stocked, clean, and organized. This position is ideal for individuals looking to gain experience in the food and beverage industry and develop their skills in customer service and bartending. Two locations-Albany & Piedmont Avenue Responsibilities Assist bartenders with preparing drinks and serving customers promptly. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils. Stock the bar with necessary supplies such as liquor, mixers, garnishes, and ice. Monitor inventory levels and communicate needs to management. Handle cash register operations accurately when required. Provide excellent customer service by engaging with patrons and assisting them as needed. Ensure compliance with food safety standards and regulations. Help manage the flow of orders during busy periods to ensure timely service. Requirements Previous experience in a restaurant or bar setting is preferred but not mandatory. Knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations. Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with guests. Basic math skills for handling cash register transactions accurately. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Willingness to learn about bartending techniques and cocktail recipes. Team player mentality with a strong work ethic.
