POSITION OVERVIEW
The Bartender role is responsible for preparing and serving beverages to customers, ensuring the highest quality of service and customer satisfaction. Your primary role is to create a welcoming atmosphere, craft a variety of drinks, manage bar inventory, and maintain a clean and organized bar area. This position requires a motivated individual who is organized, creative, and has a strong team-oriented work ethic with a positive attitude. As a key part of our bar team, you will contribute to business success and create memorable experiences for our guests. You have a passion for mixology and a commitment to providing exceptional hospitality. This role is an hourly base plus tips.
ROLE REQUIREMENTS
Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes. Ensure high standards of service and customer satisfaction. Assist in the creation of new drink recipes and seasonal offerings. Maintain a clean and organized bar area. Manage bar inventory, order supplies, and track usage. Handle customer complaints and resolve issues promptly. Uphold high standards of personal appearance and grooming, adhering to the dress code. Maximize efforts towards productivity while retaining focus on hospitality and a positive guest experience. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. Effectively handle problems, including anticipating, preventing, identifying, and solving issues. Maintain confidentiality of information. Show initiative, including anticipating guest or operational needs. Perform other related duties as requested by management and/or that support the team. Maintain a friendly and warm demeanor at all times.
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE
2+ years of experience as a bartender. Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and solution-oriented mindset. Strong organizational skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure. Proficient in inventory management and cost control. Knowledge of mixology, drink trends, and best practices. Commitment to providing exceptional guest service. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays. Proficiency with bar management software and systems. Ability to maintain a professional demeanor and appearance at all times.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to communicate effectively with management, guests, and staff.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by the employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Must be able to stand and exert well-paced mobility for at least 8 hours in length. Must be able to exert well-paced ability to remain organized and calm during high-volume shifts. Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs. on a regular and continuing basis. Requires grasping, writing, standing, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, bending, climbing, listening, hearing, and visual accuracies. Requires manual dexterity to use and operate all necessary equipment on the premises.
COMMENTS

In addition, attendance at all scheduled training sessions and meetings is required.
