Job Description -
Bartender:
Beverage technician with extensive knowledge and ability to educate others in classic and vintage cocktails, spirits and wine; particularly whisky and sake. Mix and/or serve a variety of classic and contemporary cocktails, as well as spirits, wine, sake, beer and non-alcoholic drinks. Behind-the-scenes prep work that consist of techniques such as infusion, force-carbonation, clarification, fermentation, etc. Participate in R&D and cocktail creation for seasonal and avant-garde menus. Achieve and maintain a high level of quality in beverage and guest service. Provide complete and accurate spiels, as well as direct guest experience with educated recommendations and suggestions from the beverage program. Follow SOP for cleaning and maintaining the bar in accordance with CA health codes. Check customer identification to verify they meet the legal drinking age. Handle cash, credit card, and electronic payments and balance receipts. Understand and embody the core values of the house. Effectively communicate and show professional etiquette with all members of the staff.

Credentials/Qualifications:
21+
Required Certifications:
ServSafe Manager TIPS or any
California-approved RBS Certification Favored Certifications:
BarSmarts WSET Spirits, Sake, Wine, and/or Beer Minimum of 2 years experience as a Bartender, Barback, Server, Host, and/or Kitchen We are looking for industry pros, and not necessarily seasoned bartenders. Coachability, personality, and work ethic are the most important to us.
