Bartender

General Purpose:

We are Esplanade at Madeira Ranch, Elk Grove's premier 55+ resort-style community, dedicated to creating an exceptional lifestyle experience for our members. Our restaurant, Barrel House Bistro, is at the heart of our community, serving as a gathering place where neighbors connect, celebrate, and enjoy outstanding food and beverage experiences. We are seeking a passionate hospitality professional who is looking for a long-term role where they can truly make a difference in a community-focused service environment. This position offers the opportunity to build relationships with residents, contribute to a welcoming atmosphere, and help shape memorable experiences for our members.

Preferred Requirements:

Experience in restaurant point-of-sale (POS) systems (e.g., POSITOUCH and MICROS)

Physical Demands:

Frequently stands, walks, talks, hears, and uses hands. Regularly reaches with hands and arms. Occasionally climbs, balances, stoops, kneels, crawls, crouches, tastes, smells, and sits. Frequently lifts up to 25 pounds. Occasionally may lift up to 50 pounds.

Certificates/Licenses:

ServSafe Certified (Food & Alcohol) or TIPS equivalent

Job Knowledge, Skill, and Ability Preferences:

• Knowledge of wine, spirits, beer, and current industry trends
• Possesses knowledge of cocktail recipes
• Professional and courteous demeanor
• Demonstrates strong commitment to company values
• Exceptional personal hygiene and positive representation of the organization to Troon employees, clients, and vendors
• Fluent in English speaking, writing, and understanding
