Responsibilities Lead the bar team by example, demonstrating expert mixology skills and superior customer service. Prepare and serve a wide variety of beverages, including cocktails, spirits, beers, and wines, ensuring quality and consistency. Manage bar inventory, including ordering supplies, stock rotation, and minimizing waste to maximize profitability. Oversee daily bar operations, including cash handling, POS transactions (Aloha POS and Micros POS experience preferred), and ensuring compliance with food safety and alcohol regulations. Train and mentor junior bartenders and staff on beverage preparation, customer engagement, food handling, and safety procedures. Maintain a lively yet safe environment by monitoring guest interactions and managing any issues promptly. Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food and beverage service during busy hours or special events like banquets or catering functions. Experience Proven experience as a bartender in fine dining establishments or upscale nightlife venues; nightclub or banquet experience is highly valued. Demonstrated leadership skills with prior experience supervising or leading a team in a hospitality setting. Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; proficiency in retail math, basic math skills, and cash handling are essential. Familiarity with food safety standards, food handling procedures, and alcohol service regulations. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly while managing multiple tasks efficiently. Experience working in the food industry or hospitality sector with a focus on beverage service; background in brewing or catering is a plus.
