In this role, you will craft exceptional beverage experiences, provide outstanding customer service, and create a lively atmosphere that keeps guests coming back. Your expertise in drink preparation, combined with your ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently, will help elevate our venue's reputation for excellence. Whether working in a fine dining setting, nightclub, or banquet environment, you will be the heart of the bar experience, ensuring every guest feels welcomed and valued. Responsibilities Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and flair, adhering to recipes and presentation standards. Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to enhance their overall experience and promote sales. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and supplies, following food safety and sanitation guidelines. Manage POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to process orders accurately and efficiently. Handle cash transactions with accuracy, including cash handling and cashiering duties, ensuring proper balancing at shift end. Monitor guest behavior to ensure safety and compliance with alcohol service laws; refuse service when necessary. Assist in setting up catering events, banquets, or private parties by preparing drinks and coordinating with event staff. Skills Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order entry and payment processing. Strong time management skills to handle busy shifts seamlessly while maintaining quality service. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to connect with diverse guests in various settings including fine dining, nightclubs, or banquet halls. Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures to ensure guest safety. Experience in serving alcohol responsibly within legal guidelines; familiarity with alcohol laws is a plus. Ability to perform basic math for cash handling, retail math calculations, and order adjustments accurately. Previous restaurant or food industry experience; banquet or catering experience is advantageous. Familiarity with brewing processes or hospitality industry standards enhances your versatility as a bartender.
