Located just a stone's throw away from Griffith Park, our Atwater Village Brewpub is a family-friendly environment with a charming, bright-and-airy interior and shaded outdoor areas perfect to enjoy the California weather. Our team at Golden Road Brewing, prides itself on providing exceptional food, beer, and service in a fun, fast-paced environment. As a bartender, you are a brand representative and a beer educator. It's your job to ensure that every guest at the bar feels welcomed and well taken care of. You should be able to speak confidently to guests about all beers on tap along with knowledge of our food offerings. You are not only responsible for the guests at the bar but also for all the drinks going out to the dining areas it is up to you to ensure that all drinks are being poured with the proper technique, sold in the correct glassware, properly garnished, and taken to the table within an appropriate amount of time.

Overall Duties:

Greet guests Take food and drink orders Complete sidework Be a representation of the brand/ culture Food and Beer knowledge Able to lift 30lbs Be a team player Multi-tasking Time management Key responsibilities: Prepare drinks for guests in a friendly, timely, and efficient manner. Perform all types of cash and credit card handling, as well as check settlement issues. Communicate well with both FOH and BOH operations, ensuring all guest expectations are exceeded in food preparation and service.

Qualifications and Experience:

Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining a positive and friendly attitude in a high-volume, fast-paced working environment. Ability to communicate clearly and warmly with guests, coworkers, and management both in-person and over the phone. Ability to think quickly and calmly resolve guest concerns or conflicts in a professional manner. Ability to stand and move for extended periods of time and lift up to 30 lbs. Maintains a Positive Attitude. Energetic, friendly, and approachable demeanor that enhances the guest experience. Must be at least 21 years of age 2+ years of bartending experience Why Join Us?
