Position Overview As a Cocktail & Guest Experience Bartender at Zaya, you will play a key role in creating an elevated and engaging guest experience through exceptional beverage execution, hospitality, and bar presence. This position requires strong cocktail knowledge, high-volume service capabilities, and the ability to maintain professionalism and urgency during fast-paced service periods. The ideal candidate is confident behind the bar, understands hospitality beyond drink-making, and can contribute to the overall energy and guest experience of the venue. Key Responsibilities Guest Experience & Service Create a welcoming, engaging, and high-energy guest experience at all times Provide attentive, professional, and efficient service while maintaining strong hospitality standards Take food and beverage orders accurately while offering thoughtful recommendations and pairings Anticipate guest needs and maintain awareness of guest experience throughout service Maintain professionalism and composure during high-volume service periods Beverage Execution Prepare and serve cocktails, wine, beer, and non-alcoholic beverages according to company standards Demonstrate strong knowledge of classic cocktails, spirits, and beverage pairings Maintain consistency, quality, and presentation across all beverages Execute service efficiently while maintaining attention to detail and guest interaction Bar Operations Maintain organization, cleanliness, and readiness of all bar stations throughout service Monitor inventory levels and communicate product needs appropriately Support bar setup, breakdown, and side work responsibilities Ensure bar standards, sanitation, and operational procedures are consistently maintained Team Collaboration Work collaboratively with servers, support staff, kitchen, and leadership teams to ensure seamless service Support team members during peak business periods to maintain operational flow Contribute positively to team culture and overall restaurant environment Responsible Service Follow all responsible alcohol service guidelines and liquor laws Verify identification and monitor alcohol consumption appropriately Maintain a safe and professional environment for guests and team members Qualifications 2+ years of bartending experience preferred in a high-volume or upscale hospitality environment Strong knowledge of classic cocktails, spirits, and beverage execution Ability to multitask and perform efficiently in fast-paced environments Strong communication and guest engagement skills Professional appearance and positive attitude Strong sense of urgency, organization, and attention to detail Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed Knowledge of Toast POS preferred What We're Looking For Hospitality-driven individuals with strong floor presence and guest engagement Bartenders who understand both craft and operational execution Team-oriented professionals who thrive in energetic environments Individuals who can maintain composure, professionalism, and consistency under pressure Candidates who contribute positively to team culture and guest experience Why Join Zaya Competitive pay plus tips Fast-paced, energetic work environment Growth opportunities within a growing hospitality group Employee discounts on dining and experiences Opportunity to be part of a hospitality-driven team focused on elevated service and memorable guest experiences If you are passionate about hospitality, craft cocktails, and creating standout guest experiences in a high-energy environment, we'd love to hear from you.
