In this dynamic role, you'll craft and serve beverages, serve our delicious authentic food, & ensure every guest feels welcomed and valued. Your expertise in food and beverage service, combined with your ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently, will contribute to a lively, enjoyable atmosphere. The taco shop sports bar hosts many sports events throughout the year such as watch parties for soccer, football, etc & we take pride in great food and great service. These are all great opportunities to make tips & there is also room for position promotions & pay increases based on performance. Duties Prepare and serve a variety of beverages accurately, including cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic options, adhering to recipes and presentation standards Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to enhance their experience and promote sales of drinks and related offerings Manage POS systems billing, and cash handling with accuracy Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety and sanitation standards Assist with food service when necessary, including serving food orders during busy periods Support catering or sports bar events by providing timely beverage service in a fast-paced environment Skills Proven experience in food & bar industry roles with strong customer service skills Familiarity with POS systems Excellent time management abilities to prioritize tasks during high-volume periods Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food/alcohol handling procedures to ensure guest safety Strong sales skills to upsell beverages and promote specials effectively Experience in hospitality environments such as restaurants or retail math for accurate cash handling and billing Ability to work night shifts or flexible hours as required
