English Food Handler Certification Full Job Description Overview:
You will be an integral member of the team that creates distinctively different and authentic experiences for our guests. You will be responsible for supporting the serving staff, ensuring prompt service and overseeing the cleanliness and general upkeep of the restaurant, patio and bar areas during serving hours.
Responsibilities:
Set up bar and bar area according to Terranea's standards Consistently keep the restaurant/ bar organized and clean Set up Trash cans, soda, plates, utensils, and to-go containers at start of shift Pick up soiled plates and beverages, and place into bus tubs Ensure full bus tubs get brought back into the kitchen Maintain cleanliness of work areas, china, glass, etc., throughout the day Set up heat lamps or umbrellas per a guests request Complete closing duties, including restocking items, turning off lights, etc. Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards Anticipate and address guests` service needs Speak with others using clear and professional language Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 20 pounds without assistance Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by
Supervisors Additional Responsibilities:
Adhere to departmental policies and procedures Effectively communicate with peers, management, line and front of the house employees Be responsible for the cleanliness of the immediate work area as well as the general property Subscribe to proper grooming, dress and uniform standards as set forth by company policy Be courteous to all guests and coworkers
Qualifications:
Food Handlers card required High School diploma preferred Energetic, enthusiastic and motivational individual Must be able to speak and comprehend English Ability to implement and uphold service standards Ability to prioritize and organize work assignments Ability to interact with all associates and guests of the resort Must be able to stand or walk for long periods of time
Compensation Base Pay Start Rate:
