Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction. Ability to operate POS systems efficiently for order processing. Knowledge of food handling safety practices is essential. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment. A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn are highly valued. Mobility (walking, standing, stooping, bending, reaching, etc.) required during the entire shift. Ability to pick up and carry plates, drinks, glassware, trays, highchairs, etc. Reading, memorizing, recalling, writing and verbal communication skills required. Capable of using telephone, cash register and order tablets, host desk computer interface. Capable of basic math, maintaining checks, accurately ringing in orders. Essential Job Functions Regular attendance and compliance with employee handbook and training manuals Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner. Present menus and provide detailed information about food and beverage offerings. Take accurate orders using POS systems and ensure timely delivery of food and drinks. Assist with food preparation and ensure proper handling of all food items according to safety standards. Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including bussing tables promptly after guests leave. Address guest inquiries or concerns with professionalism and courtesy. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow and guest satisfaction. Upsell menu items when appropriate to enhance the dining experience.
