hourly, non-exempt Position Overview Morton Golf is seeking a Bartender/Server who will play a vital role in creating memorable experiences for our members and guests. Your responsibilities will include preparing and serving a variety of beverages, handling cash transactions, taking food orders from guests, and providing exceptional customer service at our restaurant establishment. You will have the opportunity to showcase your mixology skills behind the bar while also ensuring smooth and efficient operations at the cashier station. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Deliver high-quality customer service to guests, ensuring a memorable experience. Prepare and serve a range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and guest preferences. Process guest orders accurately and efficiently using cash registers or POS systems. Handle cash, credit card, and electronic transactions securely and responsibly. Proactively address and resolve guest questions and concerns. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar and cashier stations, including stocking supplies and sanitizing surfaces. Adhere to responsible alcohol service practices, including checking identification and preventing overconsumption. Qualifications 1 - 3 years of bartending/serving experience preferred. Must have successfully completed California's Responsible Beverage Service (RBS) Training or the willingness to complete it upon hire. Must have a valid food handler's certificate or the willingness to obtain one upon hire. Well-versed in federal and state food and beverage health regulations, along with food safety protocols. Proficient in order-taking, as well as using cash registers and POS systems. Team player with strong work ethic. Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Flexibility to work M - F + weekends as needed. Shift times vary, 2-4 shifts per week. Committed to providing exceptional customer service.
