Silver Creek Valley Country Club, located in San Jose, CA is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a part-time Bartender! We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a fast-paced hospitality-focused property organization. As part of Troon, you will contribute to a global leader in golf and community management. Verify identification and age requirements of customers Mix traditional and creative cocktails Process payment from customers Clean glasses and bar utensils Make suggestions based on customer tastes and preferences Record and balance cash receipts and prepare cash deposit Open and maintain tabs throughout their shift Build a rapport with regular customers to create a positive atmosphere Perform other duties as required High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and one year of bartending experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience Must be at least 21 years of age to meet state age requirements to serve alcohol Knowledge of cocktail recipes and wine varieties Alcohol Awareness Training Healthcare Benefits - Medical (if determined by the ACA measurement) Retirement Benefits - 401(k) with employer match (19 years of age and older) Eligibility for benefits and the specific terms, conditions, and offerings are governed by the applicable plan of documents and company policies, which may be amended at the Company's discretion.
