Bartender Hyatt Centric Santa Clara - 1.0 Santa Clara, CA Job Details Part-time | Full-time From $18.70 an hour 1 hour ago Benefits Health insurance Dental insurance Vision insurance Qualifications Bar cleaning Bar supply restocking Greeting customers Full Job Description The Bartender is responsible for creating exceptional guest experiences by preparing high-quality beverages, providing friendly and attentive service, and maintaining a clean, organized bar environment. This role supports the overall success of the restaurant by ensuring guests feel welcomed, engaged, and well taken care of throughout their visit.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and serve cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages according to recipes and brand standards. Maintain a strong knowledge of menu offerings, ingredients, and service expectations. Monitor guest alcohol consumption and follow responsible service guidelines. Set up, stock, and break down the bar for each shift. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar, equipment, and surrounding areas. Handle cash, credit card transactions, and checks accurately. Restock supplies, garnishes, glassware, and inventory as needed. Collaborate with servers, kitchen staff, and management to ensure seamless service. Communicate guest needs, issues, or concerns promptly.
Qualifications:
Previous bartending or restaurant service experience preferred. Strong knowledge of food, beverages, and service standards . Excellent communication and guest-service skills. Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work independently. Must be available weekends and holidays. Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs. Must meet the legal age requirement for alcohol service.
Schedule:
Typical shift: 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM Required weekend and holiday availability.
