Responsibilities Prepare and blend smoothies, juices, and other beverage offerings with precision and flair. Greet customers warmly, take their orders accurately, and recommend menu items to enhance their experience. Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process transactions efficiently while handling cash and card payments responsibly. Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards in food preparation areas, ensuring a hygienic environment at all times. Manage multiple tasks effectively through strong time management skills, ensuring orders are completed promptly during busy periods. Restock ingredients, supplies, and equipment as needed to keep the smoothie bar fully operational. Uphold food handling protocols and safety regulations to deliver high-quality products safely to customers. Qualifications Previous barista or food service experience is preferred, especially in café or retail environments. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and enthusiastically. Basic math skills for cash handling, register balancing, and sales transactions. Knowledge of food safety standards, food preparation techniques, and proper food handling procedures. Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during peak hours. Experience in the food industry or café setting is advantageous but not required; a positive attitude and eagerness to learn are essential!
