Responsibilities Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and flair, adhering to recipes and presentation standards. Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner, offering recommendations and ensuring their satisfaction throughout their visit. Manage multiple tables or bar stations efficiently using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, accurately processing orders, payments, and tips. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and supplies, following food safety and sanitation regulations. Monitor guest consumption responsibly, identify signs of intoxication, and implement appropriate measures to promote safety. Handle cash transactions accurately through cashiering procedures while balancing cash drawers at shift end. Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food and beverage service during busy periods like banquets or catering events. Uphold all food handling standards and ensure compliance with health regulations related to food safety and alcohol service. Assist in inventory management by tracking stock levels of beverages and supplies, placing orders when necessary. Contribute to a lively atmosphere by supporting nightclub or event activities as needed. Qualifications Proven experience as a bartender in fine dining establishments, nightclubs, or banquet settings is highly preferred. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is essential for efficient order processing. Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders swiftly during peak hours while maintaining quality service. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally. Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures. Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and accurate billing. Experience with serving alcohol responsibly in accordance with legal regulations; certifications such as TIPS or ServSafe Alcohol are advantageous. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and special events like banquets. Previous experience in hospitality environments such as restaurants or the retail food industry is beneficial.
