We are hiring for Busser, Food Runner, Barback, or Host. In these roles, you will be the vital link between the kitchen, bar, guests in the front-of-house, ensuring smooth operations and exceptional guest experiences. Your enthusiasm and multitasking skills will help create a lively, welcoming atmosphere where guests feel valued and well-cared for. This paid position offers a fantastic opportunity to develop hospitality expertise across various service areas while contributing to a vibrant team environment. Duties Runners
- Deliver food promptly from the kitchen to tables, ensuring accuracy and presentation standards are met Barbacks
- Assist bartenders by restocking supplies, preparing garnishes, and maintaining bar cleanliness Hosts
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival, manage waitlists, and seat guests efficiently as a host or hostess All positions
- Maintain cleanliness in dining areas, bar stations, and service stations through regular bussing and sanitation When applicable
- Operate Toast POS systems for order processing and payments with accuracy Provide excellent guest service by addressing questions, managing reservations via OpenTable phone etiquette, and fostering positive guest relations Qualifications Previous experience in food service, restaurant operations, or hospitality roles such as host/hostess, barback, runner, busser required Knowledge of food handling safety standards and basic culinary skills including knife skills and meat cutting is a plus Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS; experience with OpenTable booking system is advantageous Strong communication skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and courteously Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Demonstrated commitment to food safety practices, cleanliness, and customer service excellence Join us in creating memorable dining experiences at our new location in downtown Walnut Creek!
