Key responsibilities include:

Make drinks in a high-volume, fast-paced atmosphere. Master a menu that includes a rotating list of 15-or-so house cocktails and a deep rolodex of lesser-known classics. Provide excellent guest service and maintain a welcoming atmosphere. Cultivate regular guests from the neighborhood and beyond. Uphold the standard of hospitality and service that we are known for at Annette and Traveling Mercies. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area by utilizing opening and closing checklists. Complete bar prep (juicing, batching) as needed. Work the floor or assist the kitchen as needed we are a small staff and we all wear many hats! This is not your average service job; we believe that a bar or restaurant is an organism, and every person - from the host to the shucker, plays a critical role; because of this, we split tips EQUALLY between all hourly employees, front + back of house. That means everyone makes good money. Pay plus tips averages around $30-$40 per hour; our pay structure promotes a profoundly positive team environment. We also offer health, dental and vision insurance subsidies after three months for full time employees, dining discounts, regular wine and spirits training and free parking. An ideal candidate will have a solid knowledge of food, beverage + service, with a desire to please every guest.
