As a Bartender, you will be responsible for preparing and serving beverages, ensuring guest satisfaction, and maintaining a clean and well-organized bar area. Bartender Responsibilities Prepare alcohol or non-alcohol beverages for bar and restaurant patrons Interact with customers, take orders and serve snacks and drinks Assess customers' needs and preferences and make recommendations Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails Plan and present bar menu Check customers' identification and confirm it meets legal drinking age Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies Stay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience Comply with all food and beverage regulations Bartender Skills Proven working experience as a bartender Valid bartending certification required Strong communication and customer service skills Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure Excellent knowledge of in mixing, garnishing and serving drinks Positive attitude and excellent communication skills Ability to keep the bar organized, stocked and clean Benefits of Working with Heart of the House include: Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) 401(k) plan with company match Health, dental and vision insurance
