Liquid Inspiration:
A Cocktail Endeavor. Our goal is to build one of the premiere event series in Denver. We need your help crafting interesting concoctions, introducing our concept to guests, promoting the various spaces and partnerships, and providing exceptional hospitality.
Liquid Inspiration:
A Cocktail Endeavor is a cocktail-focused temporary bar event series that builds high-concept menus full of exciting and surprising cocktails along with elevated service. With each activation we partner with a single Colorado distiller to highlight their products. We also pair with and benefit area nonprofits that use their platform for impactful work in the Denver community We are a fledgling hospitality management company that is focused and growing and is offering an opportunity to be a part of a unique event series as well as a chance to expand with us. Pay Range:
$20.00 per hour +
Gratuity Job Summary:
Essential Functions and Duties:
Mix, pour, and serve our menu to exact specifications. Set up and stock the bar with necessary beverages, mixers, polished glassware, and supplies etc before each event. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards. Monitor guest consumption of alcohol and follow established guidelines for responsible beverage service. Interact with guests in a friendly and professional manner, providing prompt and courteous service. Process guest payments accurately using point-of-sale systems. Polish glassware Restock bar supplies and beverages as needed throughout the shift. Ensure proper handling of cash and credit transactions. Assist with inventory management and report any shortages or discrepancies. Follow opening and closing procedures, including cleaning bar equipment and securing stock. Handle guest inquiries or complaints promptly, ensuring a positive guest experience. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable qualified individuals with disabilities to perform the essential duties.
Required Experience, Education, and Skills:
At least 5 years previous experience as a bartender or in a food and beverage role is a must, with an emphasis on high volume and operating professionally within a demanding environment Strong knowledge base when it comes to beer, wine and spirits and cocktail production as well as history and recipes drink mixing, garnishing, and serving techniques. Ability to handle cash and process payments accurately using point-of-sale (POS) systems. Strong communication and guest service skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks. Knowledge of alcohol safety regulations Candidate must love, respect and take service seriously
Work Environment:
Primarily an indoor environment, with frequent standing and walking required during shifts. Exposure to bar equipment and cleaning chemicals. Must be able to lift and carry up to 25 lbs. Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
