Ability to do repetitive movements (shaking, stirring, etc.) throughout a shift Reliable form of transportation to make it to and from work on time Our ideal bartender will have the following prior experience: 3 or more years of previous bartending experience, especially within a craft cocktail bar BarSmarts Online certification (BarSmarts Advanced preferred but not required) Experience working with diverse colleagues and guests (preferred) Previous experience using a POS to submit orders, print checks, record tips, etc.

Our bartenders can expect to:

Verbally greet guests upon entrance to the bar and check IDs Attend to guests Provide menu recommendations and answer questions Take and serve orders Make cocktails and pour beverages Handle guest complaints with a positive, professional attitude Make reasonable accommodations for guests with special requests, dietary restrictions, or other unique needs Keep bar area clean and tidy Remove plates and drinkware after guests have finished with them Provide extra attention to guests who may need additional assistance Provide checks and take payment methods; provide accurate change, when needed Assist in setting up the bar before opening and closing down the bar after closing Side work Bid guests farewell upon their departure Additional duties and expectations may be required. All team members are expected to participate in Team Meetings, which are typically held every other week. Additional trainings and certifications (i.e. TIPS, ServSafe, etc.) may be required.

Type of Pay/Benefits:

Hourly Non-Exempt (plus tips) - This is an hourly position which earns tips. As a non-exempt employee, this person will be paid time-and-a-half for any overtime earned, but should normally expect to work 40 hours or less per week (and shifts should be 12 hours or less), except during emergency situations when additional coverage is needed. FTO (Flex Time Off) - 48 of paid flex time off Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance - After completing 3 months of consecutive employment with the business, hourly employees who work an average of 32+ hours per week with the business may be eligible to elect health insurance through the business.
