Responsibilities Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and flair, ensuring each drink meets quality standards. Engage with guests warmly, taking orders accurately and providing personalized recommendations to enhance their experience. Manage POS systems Square POS and Micros POS to process transactions efficiently while maintaining cash handling accuracy. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations. Monitor guest behavior to promote responsible drinking and ensure a safe environment for all patrons. Restock bar supplies promptly, including garnishes, glassware, and beverages, to keep the bar fully stocked during busy hours. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth service flow during peak times such as banquets, catering events, or nightclub nights. Skills Proven experience in food service or hospitality roles, especially within dining, nightclubs, or banquet settings. Strong knowledge of POS systems like Square POS and Micros POS for efficient sales processing. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to connect with diverse guests and handle challenging situations professionally. Solid understanding of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures. Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks during high-volume periods without compromising quality. Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and accurate order processing. Familiarity with beverage preparation techniques including brewing, mixing cocktails, and serving beer or wine.
