The job includes being responsible for ID'ing at the door, handling customer disputes when necessary in a professional manner, greeting and seating customers in a friendly way, and being very aware of surroundings. It also requires helping both servers and bartenders, washing dishes, stocking, cleaning and taken orders. Hours are typically 7 or 8PM-3AM Thursday, Friday and Saturday but can vary slightly. We are currently looking for availability on Friday and Saturday nights, with willingness to cover some other days of the week periodically.
About Park Center Lounge:
This is a very friendly neighborhood karaoke bar that has been around for over 40 years. Our top priority for the door position: Anyone who works this position needs to be very good with interaction and de-escalation of situations involving patrons drinking alcohol. The position requires a person who is assertive and friendly at the same time and has great overall awareness. The job also requires helping servers and bartenders with bar-backing, bussing, cleaning, and stocking.
