Bartender

Overview:

We are seeking skilled and experienced Bartenders to join our team at our Wood-n-Tap Groton location. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests. Responsibilities:

Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to guests Take guest orders and provide recommendations based on their preferences Maintain a clean and organized bar area Occassionally serve tables in lounge area Ensure compliance with all food safety and alcohol service regulations Engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner Monitor guest behavior and intervene as necessary to prevent overconsumption or underage drinking Collaborate with the kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food orders Adhere to all company policies and procedures

Skills:

Strong knowledge of bartending techniques, including mixing cocktails, pouring drinks, and garnishing beverages Proficient in retail math calculations for accurate pricing and cash handling Familiarity with Point of Sale (POS) systems for order processing and payment transactions Previous bartending experience in the food industry in a full-service restaurant Knowledge of different types of beer, wine, and spirits, as well as brewing processes Excellent cash handling skills and ability to operate a cash register accurately Effective time management skills to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment Understanding of food safety regulations and ability to maintain cleanliness standards in accordance with health codes Strong math skills for measuring ingredients, calculating tabs, and making change accurately Exceptional customer service skills to provide a positive experience for guests Join our team of dedicated professionals who are passionate about providing exceptional service.
