Job Description
Position Summary The Server/Bartender is responsible for delivering exceptional guest service by providing warm, attentive hospitality and crafting high‑quality beverages. This role requires strong multitasking skills, accuracy, and a positive attitude in a fast‑paced restaurant environment. Key Responsibilities Guest Service — Greet guests promptly, provide menu guidance, and ensure a welcoming dining experience. Beverage Preparation — Prepare cocktails, pour beer and wine, and craft non‑alcoholic drinks with consistency. Order Management — Take orders accurately, enter them into the POS system, and coordinate with kitchen and bar staff. Menu Knowledge — Maintain strong understanding of food, cocktails, wine, beer, and allergens. Cash Handling — Process payments accurately and follow all cash‑out procedures. Cleanliness & Safety — Keep bar, service stations, and dining areas clean and organized; follow all health guidelines. Team Collaboration — Work closely with servers, bartenders, hosts, and kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations. Upselling — Recommend specials, featured cocktails, and add‑ons to enhance the guest experience. Required Skills & Qualifications Hospitality Experience — Prior serving or bartending experience preferred. POS Proficiency — Ability to operate a POS system quickly and accurately. Mixology Basics — Knowledge of classic cocktails, spirits, wine, and beer. Communication Skills — Clear, friendly, and professional interaction with guests and team members. Multitasking — Ability to manage multiple tables and bar guests efficiently. Physical Stamina — Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
