Overview We are looking for a motivated and energetic Barback to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will support our bartenders and bar operations by ensuring the bar area remains clean, stocked, and ready for service. This position offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a vibrant nightlife environment while gaining valuable experience in hospitality and food service with an opportunity to grow. Duties Assist bartenders by restocking supplies such as glassware, garnishes, and beverages throughout the shift. Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including cleaning glasses, utensils, and work surfaces. Support food preparation tasks related to bar service. Bus and clear empty glasses or dishes promptly to keep the bar area organized. Help with inventory management by monitoring stock levels and reporting shortages or damages. Ensure compliance with health and safety standards related to food handling and cleanliness. Provide friendly support to guests and team members, contributing to a lively and welcoming atmosphere. Other duties assigned by Manager. Requirements 1+ years previous experience working in a high volume, upscale restaurant. Knowledge of bar operations, including familiarity with POS systems. Strong cleaning skills and attention to detail in maintaining a tidy environment. Excellent communication skills to coordinate effectively with team members and guests. Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends and holidays. A positive attitude with a passion for hospitality and providing top-notch customer service. Ability to walk up/down stairs, lift/push/pull up to 50lbs, kneel/crouch/bend down, and stand for long periods of time (up to 8 hours).

Benefits:

Please note that other then any training pay, this job pays the Washington DC tip credit rate of $10 per hour plus tips, subject to change per DOL.
