Duties Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages efficiently and accurately using POS systems such as Toast. Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to ensure an exceptional customer experience. Manage multiple drink orders while maintaining excellent time management skills during busy service periods. Ensure food safety and proper food handling procedures are followed at all times, especially during catering, banquet, or nightclub events. Handle cash transactions accurately through cashiering and cash handling procedures; perform basic math calculations for change and sales totals. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and supplies. Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate serving food and beverages seamlessly during events or regular service. Uphold responsible alcohol service policies and monitor guest behavior to promote a safe environment. Assist with inventory management, restocking supplies, and tracking sales using POS systems like Aloha or Micros. Support team members in various food service roles as needed to ensure smooth operations across the venue. Qualifications Proven experience as a bartender in fine dining, nightclub, restaurant, or retail food industry environments. Familiarity with POS systems such as Toast is highly preferred. Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during peak hours. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally. Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques. Experience with catering, banquet service, or brewing is a plus. Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and sales transactions. Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and special events. Previous experience in hospitality or food industry roles that involve serving alcohol is desirable.
