About us Chelsea Tavern is a popular local gastropub located in downtown Wilmington directly across from the Grand Opera House. The kitchen prepares made-from-scratch comfort food with local ingredients, complemented by an ever-changing craft beer selection. Chelsea's ever rotating 33 taps, large format bottles, cans and single serving bottles spotlight seasonal and local brews, in addition to wine and cocktails. Open daily till 1 AM, Chelsea is a neighborhood favorite for a quick lunch, weekend brunch with friends, pre-show dinner, group outing and vibrant outdoor patio dining. The energetic bar scene is a gathering place always playing the game of the week on its large TVs.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers
• Deliver food in a timely and professional manner
• Interact with customers, take orders, and provide recommendations
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining/bar area
• Monitor customer behavior and ensure responsible alcohol service
• Handle cash transactions and operate the TOAST point-of-sale (POS) system
• Collaborate with other staff members to ensure efficient service
• Assist in inventory management and restocking supplies

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in serving/bartending or a related role preferred
• Knowledge of sales techniques and customer service principles
• Familiarity with brewing techniques and different types of beverages
• Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and calculating drink prices
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
