Job Description
Overview We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Barback to join our vibrant team in a fast-paced nightclub environment. The ideal candidate will support bartenders by ensuring the bar is well-stocked, clean, and organized while providing excellent customer service. This role is essential for maintaining the smooth operation of our beverage service during events and regular shifts. Duties Assist bartenders by restocking supplies, including liquor, mixers, and garnishes. Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces. Help with food preparation and serving during events or busy shifts. Operate the POS system for order processing and transactions as needed. Buss tables and assist with catering services during banquets or special events. Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with guests and ensuring their needs are met. Handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly. Collaborate with team members to create a positive atmosphere for guests. Qualifications Previous experience in the food industry, particularly in a bar or restaurant setting is preferred. Familiarity with Aloha POS or Micros POS systems is a plus. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members. Ability to handle food safely and adhere to hygiene standards. Experience in hospitality roles such as serving or barista work is advantageous. Knowledge of cleaning procedures and food preparation techniques. A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and ability to thrive in a high-energy environment are essential. Nightclub or banquet experience is desirable but not mandatory.
