Margaritaville Resort Fort Myers Beach is seeking applications from seasoned professionals for the exciting role of Barback. What You'll Do:

Assist with opening and closing procedures, including restocking the bar with garnishes, straws, napkins, and other necessary supplies. Maintain a well-stocked bar by regularly checking inventory levels of ice, liquor, wine, and beer, and restocking as needed. Inspect taps and appliances to ensure proper functionality, making minor repairs or adjustments as necessary, and replacing kegs when required. Keep the bar area clean and tidy by wiping down surfaces, sweeping and mopping floors, removing soiled glassware, scrubbing coolers and storage areas, and emptying trash receptacles regularly. Follow sanitation protocols to maintain a hygienic environment and prevent contamination. Familiarize yourself with menu items and cocktail recipes and be prepared to answer customer questions and provide recommendations. Engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner, addressing inquiries, helping, and ensuring a positive guest experience. Take the initiative to improve efficiency and effectiveness in bar operations, suggesting ideas for process enhancements or improvements. Work collaboratively with Bartenders and other bar staff to ensure smooth operations and excellent service delivery. Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate tasks and support each other as needed.

What We're Looking For:

High School Diploma or equivalent. Experience in backing is preferred but not required. Ability to meet physical and scheduling demands of the position, including walking, standing, or lifting heavy items (up to 50 pounds) for extended periods of time. Be punctual and able to observe regular and consistent attendance. Contribute to a positive team environment

Located on the sunset terrace, you can see the view of Fort Myers Beach at any time of day with an upbeat and beachy vibe. This open-air venue runs from breakfast through late night, serving casual bites, cocktails, and live music. 5

Located inside the Fins Up! Beach Club, this beachside bar is all about good vibes, fresh coastal eats, and tropical cocktails. This poolside bar serves with a view of the Gulf, a soundtrack of live music, and the most fun and energetic spots on property. The kitchen is just above our bar with stairs and elevator access.

JWB Grill:

As part of the JWB team, you'll be working in a setting that values casual sophistication and genuine hospitality. Located on the second floor, JWB offers stunning Gulf views, a chef-driven menu featuring fresh seafood and prime steaks, and a high-energy atmosphere that feels both polished and relaxed.
