Ideal candidates understand the way you do anything is the way you do everything. The ideal candidate will already have experience in the service industry, be familiar with kava bars and be able to be on their feet ten straight hours and never loose their enthusiasm for serving the customer. We ask you to look over our 5 Core Values of Black Klover & reflect if you'd seek to fulfill them: 1) Consistency of Craft 2) Endless Enthusiasm 3) Take the Initiative 4) Stronger Together 5) Service Above & Beyond Duties Take orders, make drinks, serve drinks, cash out customers Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces as well as bathroom facilities. Stock and replenish supplies such as kava, teas, mixers, garnishes, ice, cups, napkins, straws and all supplies as needed. Brew and prepare kava/tea and kava/tea handling tasks as required. Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests and ensuring their needs are met. Collaborate with Klover staff to ensure timely delivery of drink orders to the bar. Familiarize yourself with Clover POS system for efficient order processing. Participate in events, social media posts, bi weekly team meetings. Qualifications Previous experience in a hospitality or customer service role is preferred. Knowledge of food preparation and food handling practices is a plus. Ability to operate cash registers and handle cash transactions accurately. Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanor to interact effectively with guests and team members. Familiarity with bartending practices is advantageous but not required; willingness to learn is essential. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. We are a tight knit team, family like.
