Our tap room manages the brewery visitor experience and strives to build relationships with its customers. Position Duties:

Serve alcoholic beverages to customers Maintain a welcoming, educational, exciting and inviting tap room environment Manage Tap Room customer satisfaction and overall brewery visitor experience through building relationships Exceed customer expectations and create strong impressions that reinforce the brand position and strategy of Anecdote Brewing Co Assist in managing inventory, and participate in merchandise selection to forecast inventory needs Assist in analyzing trends (visitors, events, beer, and merchandise) Perform various open and closing duties Execute events in the tap room Work with the founders to properly market the tap room Attend festivals and events Perform various cleaning and organizational tasks Monitor cold room and brewing equipment Monitor, troubleshoot, and regulate the pouring of the beers on tap to help eliminate beer waste. Properly check for identification and follow laws regulating the sale and consumption of alcohol Educate visitors about our products, company and culture

Qualifications:

• 1 year of bar/restaurant serving experience and/or brewery/winery taproom experience Excellent verbal communication skills Time management skills Attention to detail Familiarity in using the web, spreadsheets, and point of sale system Ability to transport kegs with a dolly Ability to change out kegs and monitor beer supply A desire to learn and adapt Must be team oriented Customer service skills Knowledge of, and passion for, craft beer and the brewing industry Must be at least 21 years of age Must be willing and able to be around alcohol responsibly Must possess a valid driver's license to drive to and from events Entrepreneurial team spirit: willing to take initiative and jump in where needed; resourceful in making suggestions and offering solutions Problem solving: ability to quickly assess a situation and solve problems in a timely and effective manner Dependent independence: ability to work independently but also know when to seek direction/guidance appropriately and as needed Must have a familiarity with the brewing process

Physical Requirements:

Physical working conditions are required with this position. Working around vessels and pipes under pressure containing air, CO2, water, beer and hazardous chemicals is common place. The work areas are mechanical in nature and require a significant amount of walking and working on wet slippery surfaces. Tap room assistants could encounter some level of dust from the brewing process on a regular basis. Moderate physical activity is required by handling objects up to 50 pounds occasionally. The taproom assistant is required to stand for long periods of time and transport heavy objects.
